Handphone Blues

I’m sick and angry! My phone has not been functioning well since the end of October.
All the keys and functions on my phone cannot be used. That’s the problem when you buy Sony Ericsson phones. No matter how ‘canggih’ the phone is, don’t buy it. This is why:
Because my phone is still under warranty, I brought it back to the office (Sony Ericsson’s representative in Penang). The 1st time I brought it to them, they said that the phone’s problem is only a small one. Come back in a week’s time. That was the diagnosis. I went back to the office after a week and happily brought back my phone. A few hours later (when I reached home, decided to SMS my friend), I found out that I couldn’t press anything on the phone. I was deeply frustrated. So I took it back to the office, they diagnosed the phone again and found out that it was the joystick that’s causing all the problems. So they repaired my original mother board and asked me to come back a week later. I went back. The same problem happened. And this time I was very mad. They told me: “I think we have to send this to the KL to repair. Very sorry arr. Come back in a month’s time.” Yesterday, my dad went to take the phone back from the shop. They told my dad that the whole mother board has been replaced with a new one. When the phone came back, this time, everything was in good condition. But when I was setting my phone, I found out that there were many things inside the phone that shouldn’t be there if it were a new mother board. If it were a new mother board, the whole phone should be in the factory settings, just like it was, when I first purchased and used my phone. Inside my phone now, there are obviously songs downloaded from the Internet and my GPRS was already requested. What’s more, the GPRS is Maxis WAP but I’m using DIGI. There were also pictures that ought not to be there if it were factory settings. I’m not easily angered but this time, they have driven me way too far. I’m going back to the office to straighten things out now. And I’m really pissed right now. I’ve been going into that shop too many a time to get my phone fix. I’ve wasted my time, energy, petrol etc. and now they’ve given me an USED mother board. This is cheating. If I knew that they replace original parts with used parts when you send for a repair, I would have gone and bought a 2nd hand phone or some other brand phones. I can’t believe and am deeply disappointed that a renowned multi-national company like SONY ERICSSON is so BAD at its service.
