excuse me, which university?

woke up this morning feeling a lil dazy. not so sure if i was awake or still wondering in slumber land. looked at my phone. it said: 10.30am Monday 19th-June-2006. yeah, it’s still "early". but that wasn’t the point. the point: TODAY, i’m supposed to go online and check out which public university was offered to me. oh hurray (monotonously…), finally. after 3 months of waiting, the application results was at last announced! can you believe that, the ministry took 3 bloody "short" months to process a few thousand STPM-leavers’ applications. in china, the ministry only took A MONTH to process A FEW HUNDRED THOUSAND school-leavers’ applications… wow, that was "slow". our ministry is definitely very much more "efficient" than china.
whatever was taking them so long, i wondered.
now that it was out, i can’t wait to know which uni i was offered!
kinda disappointed a lil, my hopes of becoming a Vet Doctor was shattered. that was my 1st choice. however, i was granted my 2nd choice to study management and marketing in UTM. ok-lah. no complains dee… at least, i got what i really wanted!
and then here comes the big surprise. after all the big hoo-haas about the uni-placing, successful applicants are given only 2 weeks to pack their bags and bid farewells to fellow peers and family members… how very interesting!
so i guess, now everyone’s so busy packing their bags and saying bye-byes to everyone else cos time’s limited! so am i… got to go for now.
Think of it this way… At least the Government gave you the “efficiency” you wanted in the end. ^^;
