how’s it been going for me… so far

all right. yes, i know. been silent for a lil too long. now that i’m quite settled down with life here, i’m finally writing something! just to give you some insights into the life i’m now leading in UTM.
oh well, 1st week was really sucky. yup, it was the orientation week. all of us had to endure on-going briefings and lectures about the university, sleeping at wee-hours and waking up before dawn - it was CRAP!!! most of us actually ended up "continuing" our sleep in the briefing hall because we were all too tired (did anybody hear us? i said we were all too tired! No one did…) yes we were deprived of sleep, catching up on every opportunity that was available even if it was merely lying on the bed. oh yes, everytime we wanna attend any briefings at the hall, we had to walk very far… i’ve only been here for about less than a month and i’ve switched shoes 4 times! that’s a record.
thank God, it’s now over! pls i’m never going thru that process again. now let’s look somewhere else… classes.
oh surprisingly no complains… most lecturers are kinda liberal, coursemates superb, classes interesting (except for management class - my coursemates know why). oh yes, i’m really a banana (name used to call a chinese who doesn’t speak chinese; how ironic is that?). all my frens SPEAK MANDARIN - and i don’t. well thanks to them, my mandarin is getting better and better each day. ehem…
my coursemates are really fun ppl, crazy bunch of guys and girls like me… hahaha. oh met up too with our seniors, really cool ppl and some of them in the 2nd year are actually younger than us and we call them "SENIORS"… thanks to the matriculation system.
to cut things short, cos i’m running late for class, everything’s great here at UTM except for my NOKIA 7360 phone. something’s happened but dun wanna tell you guys further. *mouth zipped* but anyway, it’s in NOKIA centre now; in safe hands… i’ll be able to have it back in time. so dun fret or get frustrated when i dun reply your sms-es or mms-es or pick up your calls… so sorry ya… it’s unavoidable. yes, i agree i’ve finally realised how important communication and networking is to me.
Hehe, great to know ur enjoying ur uni life..wait till u get ur assignments and presentations and exams and labwork, oops sorry ur no longer doing that, all in a week. Me practically dying here..sobs..anyway, just a line to say i miss u! Were you homesick? I was! Ok, gtg now, love ya!
yes we have been given assingments and projects on our 1st week here… very express right the lecturers? hahaha, i’m loving every piece of it: assignments and all, i like keeping busy remember? so it’s not that tough; pretty enjoyable.
nope not homesick, i’ve been away from home for long too many times. miss ya too.
How long have you been in campus already so far? I’ve lost track of time..
erm… i think a month! came in on 2nd july
