penang: episode #2

day2: 31st august 2006
1230 hours: yes, that was the time i started the day. slept in late ’cause had not been sleeping in late for awhile. no breakfast, but lunch… parents and i went to Sg. Petani town for hawker food (though nothing compared to penang food). had to go back to penang today as we were supposed to pick up janet (sis) from the bus terminal that afternoon.
1545 hours: reached penang. put the dogs home and went to "collect" sis from the bus terminal. went back home, took a refreshing shower, nap and then to gurney plaza.
1800 hours: drove the whole family there (minus the dogs, of course!). as expected, traffic jam all over (national day what!!!). penang has become more congested than it was before when i left. like always, motorcyclists always rule the road… pls pls pls someone ban motorcycles in penang! parked the car in the multistorey carpark (cheaper if you’re sure that you’re gonna linger in the mall for quite awhile).
1830 hours: was surprised dad walked into handphone shops inquiring about phones. the next thing i knew, got a new phone… okay. weird but reality. went to look at laptops - apple computers were super-amazing! too expensive… crap!
2030 hours: had dinner at food court… hmmm, food is like… oh well, like like like food court food-lah. of course, price standard, taste also standard-lah. so so only. but But BUT, better than johor food!!! after dinner, we went shopping again…
2200 hours: left gurney and went home… zzzzzz
